Arsen Petrosyan Quartet play classical traditional Armenian music, spanning epochs and genres.

Petrosyan has become one of the most important ambassadors of the Armenian duduk. Having followed recognized mentors like Djivan Gasparin he has managed to find his own style and expression. With his quartet which in addition to duduk showcase the instruments qanun, santur and the dhol drum, they’ve toured stages around the world to great reviews.

Now they’re coming to Trondheim, and maybe for the first time presenting this type of Armenian music here. They will take you on an emotional journey into the mountains and into incredibly beautiful landscapes with a kind of melancholy that will stay with you after the concert.
